What they say about our substance and alcohol rehab ...

This is what our clients and their families have to say.  In many ways, the evidence of a successful treatment programme is the feedback of the people that use the service.  Across our site and our Facebook page, you will see a wide array of feedback and reviews which will give you a real insight into the experiences the residents have at The Providence Projects.  As I’m sure you will appreciate, there are 100’s more who would like to remain confidential but you will see from the reviews and feedback that we have, that in almost every instance, our clients are not only very happy with the service, but so are their families.

The average satisfaction rating is 94%

This place simply changed my life forever and I am eternally grateful for everything they have done

This place simply changed my life forever and I am eternally grateful for everything they have done. I could never have imagined how my life would get better and every year it just gets better and better. Coming on to nearly 10 years clean. I am especially grateful to all the staff and the support team :-)

This is a very special place, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get well

This is a very special place, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get well. The staff are saints, they are working on the front lines and saving lives every single day, they certainly saved mine. If like me you needed to be in a safe place where someone would explain to you what is wrong, why you are not well and how you can get better & where a lot of the staff can relate to what you are going through. The staff at The Providence Project where extremely patient and tolerant with me, they showed me at first how to relearn and do the simple things in life and by the time I left I was able to handle life in a entirely new way that I never thought possible.

Thank you for just being there and providing that very safe environment

Thank you for just being there and providing that very safe environment. Sometimes we just need an emotional plaster cast of protection that is needed to start the healing process when we are emotionally broken and our way of trying to fix things does not work anymore. Once we have that, then we can start to rediscover the Magic of being healthy and happy again. Providence Projects is that safe place to help you start to heal. The staff and all the support team are great. Thank you.

I've been in addiction counselling, treatment and management since 1990

I've been in addiction counselling, treatment and management since 1990. I doubt any other professional has worked with as many different treatment centres, from the luxurious to the most basic. Whilst reasonable facilities are obviously important, I’ve found little correlation between cost and effectiveness. It’s all about the quality of the therapists and the way they’re managed. I managed London Transport’s staff drug and alcohol programme for nearly twenty years. We used Provi because it worked. Dozens of TfL staff who went through the programme are still clean, sober and grateful.
